Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as United’s caretaker after the club wrongfully sacked Jose Mourinho, and everybody thought that Ole would be our savior, especially when he had that good run, winning loads of games, and topping that with the PSG comeback. Still, since his appointment as a permanent manager, he got some inferior results, and performances as well.
This season, he managed to win against Chelsea, but drew against Wolves, and lost at home against Crystal Palace.
Ole is the complete opposite of Mourinho, he covers up for the Board’s failures, and they keep disappointing him every time, they failed to back him during this summer transfer window. He’s now found himself in a situation where he’s one more injury away from a complete catastrophe.
But here’s the thing: he’s the perfect guy for the Board because most of the supporters love him, so they’ll be reluctant to say OleOut, he doesn’t go against them or criticize them in front of the media, and it showed immensely during this summer transfer window, so I highly doubt they’ll sack him unless something terrible happens!
As for Frank, he’s got excuses for days, Chelsea got a transfer ban, he’s new and inexperienced, He’s a club legend, they just lost their best player in Eden Hazard, they’ve got injuries, they’ve got all that going on, and they’re level on points with ManUnited currently.
Chelsea and their fans are sacrificing this season, and they’re considering this as an opportunity for youngsters to shine, and experimenting with new things.
It’s a win-win situation for Lampard; if they win anything or get Top 4, or progress well in the Champions League, he’ll be considered a genius, if they don’t, nobody will complain.
People and the Media will start judging Frank next season when he’s got all his players fit, and can buy players!
