Before starting, There’s nothing like friend’s and hence F.R.I.E.N.D.S is celebrated so much. Rom-Com / Com Genre TV Series have a tendency to become Popular much more than other TV Series in other Genre’s. But I would still suggest the following comedy shows which I have seen:
- How I Met Your Mother (IMDB 8.4/10) -This show is also similar to F.R.I.E.N.D.S were five friends hang out at a pub.
- The Big Bang Theory (IMDB 8.3) – In this show too, seven people hang out, but here most of them are professionals in the field of Science. Anyone who loves Science will enjoy this show.
- That 70s Show (IMDB 8.1/10) This show is similar to F.R.I.E.N.D.S as five friends hang out in the basement of one of the main actors’ house.
- Two and A Half Men (IMDB 7.1/10)- Here, two brothers and son of the younger brother stay at, the elder brother’s house and make us laugh with their hilarious activities.
- Arrested Development (IMDB 9.3/10) – This show is about a big family where everyone is insane except one who is trying his best to run both family and family business.
- Seinfeld (IMDB 9.6/10) – It is one of the oldest comedy shows about the lives of 4 people. The protagonist is a comedian in both real and reel life.
- Modern Family (IMDB 8.2/10) – It is about the day-to-day life of 3 families who are related to each other. Some people might find it funny; some might not. Well, I think it is entertaining and refreshing.
I would also like to add The Ellen Degeneres Show. Although it is a talk show and not a comedy TV series, it will make you laugh a lot. Small video clips of this show are instant mood boosters.
Well, To Be Honest, I’ll say if you are looking for a good series which gives you the same feeling and joy watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S you will be disappointed by every sitcom mentioned above, but at least you can try it yourself or rewatch F.R.I.E.N.D.S for the 10th time 😉
